Questions

We understand that you may have queries about our services. To provide you with quick answers, we've compiled a list of common questions below. If you don't find the information you're looking for, please feel free to contact our friendly support team. We're here to help you find the solutions you need.

It is essential to employ a specialised funeral service provider experienced in international repatriation to meet all the necessary requirements and ensure a smooth process. Our team can navigate consulate requirements, handle paperwork, coordinate with airlines, and manage the logistics associated with air transportation of human remains. Our services not only relieve you of the burden but also ensure that the remains of your loved one are treated with the utmost respect and dignity throughout the process. Our team comprehends the legal and cultural factors connected with repatriation and offers valuable advice and support during these hard times.

Typically, international transportation of human remains is more expensive. Apart from the local paperwork, transportation, and the choice between wooden and zinc coffins, there are additional charges related to airline costs. There may be additional fees for the consulate, apostilles on the documents, and regulations regarding the type of coffin used. Each country has specific regulations, and airline fees can vary.

As professionals, we specialize in managing the logistical and administrative aspects of arranging funerals and repatriations across international borders. Our main objective is to assist bereaved families and relatives in transporting, preparing, and laying the deceased to rest in compliance with the laws, regulations, and cultural practices of both the home country and the destination country.

Our initial consultation is non-binding and without obligation. All you have to do is pick up the phone and call us, and we will be ready to help the family members with any questions, uncertainties or challenges they may have regarding the transport of the deceased either out of Denmark or the return of the deceased to Denmark for the final rituals (burial or cremation). We work according to the wishes of the relatives and tailor our services to their needs.

The timeframe largely depends on two major factors, namely airline booking confirmation and the relevant consulate. After the consulate approves the necessary paperwork and provided there are no other complications, we can typically repatriate your loved one within 3-5 working days. However, the speed at which we can proceed depends also on the consulate's processing times.

Coffins can be transported as commercial cargo on flights, allowing you to travel with your deceased family member on their final journey, subject to seat availability and the practices of individual airlines. Nevertheless, the availability of seats will play a role, though some airlines endeavour to arrange for special accommodations.
